About the Writer:

witch hat (2)I am Autumn Wolfe, an Eclectic Wiccan who has studied as a solitary, in a coven, and groups.  I have identified as Wiccan since I was 13 years old but only have seriously studied for the past five years. I always felt a strong calling to work for the Goddess and promote the positive, loving side of Wicca and Neo-Paganism. I grew up deep in the heart of the Bible belt but never was in the broom closet. In fact, I say I blew the door off of my closet and invited everyone for tea. As I have gotten older I understand the problems I faced due to my openness but never backed down from my right to practice without prejudiced. One of my life goals is to help all pagans to never have to face the negativity I experienced at such a young age. This blog is just a stepping stone on a long journey of self-exploration and starting a dialog with the Pagan community(s), in hopes that we can all come to together and work toward a better world.

IronWolf Circle:

Iron is a soft metal when pure, used since ancient time and in the production of steel. Iron is used hear to insight the image of a soft heart with a strong will, and an ancient root. Much like the many Neo-Pagan faiths practiced today. The wolf is strong, with music in its heart. A wolf has it’s pack even when they are far apart. With the wolf’s spirit in mind, we build community through words. In Paganism, a circle is a magick space and a safe place. Where we as a community can gather and share ideas, energy and life’s mysteries. IronWolf’s Circle is dedicated to promoting truthful information on Paganism, Witchcraft, and the issues today’s practitioners face. What we are working for in this space is an ongoing discussion on topics ranging from Wicca 101, social, political, and legal issues Pagans face in America today, Religious theories in Paganism, and  Magickal practice.
